Peer-led support

The Moving on Together Community Support Group is a peer-led charity group run by ex-clients of the Kingston Wellbeing Service. Members have overcome their own addictions and decided that they would like to help others in the local area who are still struggling on their own journey of recovery.

Who we are

All of the committee members are peer mentors, who have been in your shoes. They know what it is like to be held back from achieving your full potential because of addiction and they fully understand the problems that accompanies this. They are all here to support people throughout their recovery.

Our Mission Statement is ................

MOT exists to provide peer led support, encouragement and advice to anyone affected by or at risk of substance use in the borough of Kingston; and, through engagement in peer led activity, help people in recovery to find a full, active and satisfying place in their community.
